It has been a glorious day, here on the ‘Sunshine Coast’. As well as good weather, we had an Ecumenical celebration for Our Lady.
Our Lady of Fatima
Beginning at the Anglican St Saviour’s Church, in South Street, with prayers and Hymns, our statue of Our Lady of Walsingham was processed down towards the station, up Grove Road, finishing at Our Lady of Ransom. The long procession of about 130 people, made up of Catholics, both parish and Ordinariate, and Anglicans prayed and sang all the way. Many of the children dressed in white and carried flowers for the Crowning of Mary at OLR.

After the jubilee prayer of consecration and sensing of Our Lady of Fatima, the children brought up flowers and crowned Mary. The service was finished of with exposition and benediction. A lovely tea was provided by the Filipino community for those who wished to stay.
Benediction.
