Two separate Camino pilgrimages squeezed into just over 2 weeks, catering to both the laity and the religious enabled a total of 45 pilgrims to cover 200 miles and reach Santiago de Compostela. The undertaking caused quite a spectacle.

From today til 1 June, 30 members of the Ordinariate - including the Ordinary - will be walking the Camino from near the border of Portugal to Santiago de Compostela. Another 12 clergy, seminarians, and enquirers, will be walking the Camino from 2-9 June. Please pray for them!

With the whole Church we rejoice in the inauguration of our Holy Father, Leo XIV, shepherd of shepherds.
O God, the Pastor and Ruler of all the faithful: mercifully look upon thy servant Leo, whom thou hast chosen to be shepherd and Pope of thy Church; grant unto him to be in word and conduct a wholesome example to the people committed to his charge; that he with them may attain at last to the crown of everlasting life; through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, ever one God, world without end. Amen.

Tomorrow is the Fifth Sunday of Easter, and Mass is celebrated according to Divine Worship at Christ the King Church, Langney, at 11:30am. We'd love to see you! The pew sheet is available at the link below; notices will be added later on, which will include details of the Exhibition of Eucharistic Miracles devised by Bl Carol Acutis, currently at Christ the King and available at various times over the next two weeks.
I, John, saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
