Tomorrow is the Seventh Sunday of Easter, the Sunday after Ascension. Join us for Mass celebrated according to Divine Worship at 11:30am at Christ the King Church. This week the Parish and Ordinariate Mass includes the First Holy Communion of a number of our children.
This Sunday falls in the space between the Ascension and Pentecost, when the Apostles and Our Lady “devoted themselves to prayer.”
“O God, the King of glory, who hast exalted thine only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph unto thy kingdom in heaven: we beseech thee, leave us not comfortless, but send to us thy Holy Spirit to comfort us, and exalt us unto the same place whither our Saviour Christ is gone before; who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, ever one God, world without end. Amen.”
