The Church in England & Wales commemorates the Assumption of Our Lady tomorrow, and Mass will be celebrated according to Divine Worship at 11:30am at Christ the King Church Langney. We’d love to see you! The pew sheet is available at the link below. To mark the difference from “green” Sundays and celebrate the Solemnity, we’re using the Missa de Angelis, the music for which is in the printed Mass booklets.

And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant and ... gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne, and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God. And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, ‘Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come.’

Tomorrow is the Tenth Sunday after Trinity, and Mass will be celebrated according to Divine Worship at 11:30am at Christ the King Church Langney. We’d love to see you! The pew sheet is available at the link below. This Sunday we continue with the new Mass setting, Healey Willan's 𝘔𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘢 𝘥𝘦 𝘚𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘵𝘢 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘢 𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘥𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘢, the music for which is in the printed Mass booklets.

We’re serving bacon butties after Mass on Sunday, to extend the fellowship and have the opportunity to bid farewell to Fr John, who is returning to Nigeria.

Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, ‘Lord, save me.’ Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, ‘O you of little faith, why did you doubt?’ And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. And those in the boat worshipped him, saying, ‘Truly you are the Son of God.’

Tomorrow is the Eighth Sunday after Trinity, and Mass will be celebrated according to Divine Worship at 11:30am at Christ the King Church Langney. We’d love to see you! Thank you to Fr John Popoola for supplying Mass while Fr Neil is away. Urgent pastoral care may be requested of clergy at Our Lady of Ransom.

The Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night, and God said, ‘Ask what I shall give you.’ And Solomon said, ‘O Lord my God, you have made your servant king in place of David my father... Give your servant, therefore, an understanding mind to govern your people, that I may discern between good and evil, for who is able to govern this your great people?’ It pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this. And God said to him... ‘Behold, I give you a wise and discerning mind, so that none like you has been before you and none like you shall arise after you.’
