Coronation of TM The King and Queen

King Charles III’s coronation will take place on Saturday 6 May 2023 in London. During the ceremony, the King will be crowned alongside Queen Camilla. Cardinal Nichols has exhorted Catholics to pray for the King and Queen, and there are formal prayers which can be used.

Alleluia: Christ is risen! He is risen indeed. Alleluia!

We try to follow the principles expressed in the Vatican II Instruction Musicam Sacram, singing what should be sung, using music which is worthy and within the Anglican patrimony — that body of work which stretches from before the Reformation, through the music and texts of the Church of England which are consonant with Catholic teaching and practice.
