The month of September is traditionally dedicated to the Seven Sorrows of Mary in the Church’s Liturgical Calendar. The Litany of the Seven Sorrows joins us to her suffering.
The month of August is traditionally dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the Church’s Liturgical Calendar. The Litany of the Immaculate Heart invokes the heart of Mary, the seat of her love and virtue, and an incentive to a similar love and virtue in ourselves.
The month of July is dedicated to the Precious Blood in the Church’s Liturgical Calendar. The Litany of the Most Precious Blood pays tribute to the blood our Lord both shed for us in His Passion and offers us in the Eucharist for our salvation.
