On Wednesday 16 October, the House of Commons will hear the first reading of a new Bill on assisted suicide. The Catholic Church teaches that life is a gift to be cherished and cared for at all stages until natural death and that it is morally wrong to intentionally end one’s own life or that of another person, including at their request.

We are looking for new people to join our Events Committee as we head into our busy Advent and Christmas time and into 2025. We already have events lined up for the rest of this year but need support in running them. We’ve also lots of ideas for the year ahead but would love to hear some fresh new ideas to not only raise funds, but to bring our community together.
