Two separate Camino pilgrimages squeezed into just over 2 weeks, catering to both the laity and the religious enabled a total of 45 pilgrims to cover 200 miles and reach Santiago de Compostela. The undertaking caused quite a spectacle.

From today til 1 June, 30 members of the Ordinariate - including the Ordinary - will be walking the Camino from near the border of Portugal to Santiago de Compostela. Another 12 clergy, seminarians, and enquirers, will be walking the Camino from 2-9 June. Please pray for them!

Jesus unrolled the scroll, and found the place where it was written, ‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.’ And he rolled up the scroll, and gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. And he began to say to them, ‘Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.’
