We live among competing claims — about power, success, identity, truth and what gives life meaning. The question Jesus asks has not changed: “Who do you say that I am?” It is not merely a question requiring a theological answer. It is an invitation to consider our own relationship with Christ.
The intimacy between Father, Son and Holy Spirit reveals a dynamic relationship of love into which we are called to participate and to which we are called to bear witness.
The wilderness was for Jesus, and is for us, a place where God is. There is no comfort we need other than God.
