Philip Penfold was ordained deacon on 27th July at Warwick Street. He deaconed for mass on the Sunday.

Unfortunately it was a weekend when many were away on pilgrimage or had family events. So this Sunday we celebrated with cream tea.

This is quickly becoming a tradition this summer, with so many special events. This time Cream Tea had the addition of Philip’s wonderful cheese cake and Jenny’s mother’s lemon cheese pie.

 

Deacon Philip will be ordained to the priesthood on Saturday 7th September at St Agnes at 5pm.
